The Association of Traders and Producers of Natural Gas and Hydrogen (ATPNGH) was established in Sofia on 23 February 2021. The founders are 5 leading companies in the field of trade and production of natural gas and hydrogen – TIBIEL EOOD, MET ENERGY BULGARIA, BULGARIAN GAS COMPANY EOOD, KS GAS TRADING EOOD and ENERGIKO EOOD.

The Association aims to unite, support and express the common interests of its members, as well as to encourage and assist the protection, development and promotion of the liberalization of the gas sector in Bulgaria and the expansion of production and market for hydrogen. ATPNGH will pursue its goals mainly by holding a dialogue with the Bulgarian Parliament, the central and local government authorities and any other organizations.

In order to attain its goals ATPNGH will draw up and submit proposals, opinions and expert assessments before the state authorities and supranational institutions concerning legal regulations and draft acts. The Association will prepare proposals for the adoption of new and/or revision of existing legal acts.  The members of the Association shall draw up and present in-depth analyses and developments with a focus on current issues in the sector. ATPNGH will organize and take active part in meetings, workshops and discussions in the area of trade in natural gas and hydrogen.  

The Association of Traders and Producers of Natural Gas and Hydrogen is open to new members who meet the membership requirements set forth in its Articles of Association.
